Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills are essential.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs is expected.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, customers and visitors in person and over the phone.
• Register patients in various systems.
• Answer phone calls professionally and courteously.
• May collect payments for time-of-service patient responsibility.
• May verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorization.
• Transport patients to/from exam rooms and assist in transfers.
• Provide preliminary and post-procedure instructions.
• Maintain a clean, stocked work area in mobile unit.
• Ensure accurate patient records in electronic and written documents.
