Job summary

The Salvation Army Hobbs Corps & Community Center in Hobbs, NM seeks an experienced Street-Level Program Manager to oversee all aspects of the Street-Level Program, supervise staff, and ensure mission alignment. You will coordinate food distribution, mobile shower operations, and outreach to the unhoused community, while maintaining safety and dignity for clients.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, NM driver’s license, and ability to pass background and fleet safety checks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required (experience in a social service capacity may substitute in a 2:1 ratio).
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Must pass The Salvation Army’s Fleet Safety e-learning.
• New Mexico driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Experience in a social service setting and supervising staff.
• Ability to oversee all aspects of the Street-Level program, including staffing and food distribution.
• Proven crisis intervention, crowd management, and conflict resolution abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Street-Level Program to ensure alignment with mission, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and report monthly program income and expenditures.
• Identify and respond to community needs related to homelessness through planning and outreach.
• Coordinate mobile shower unit operations, logistics, and maintenance.
• supervise Street-Level staff to ensure service delivery meets standards.
• Maintain records using TSA WellSky or other reporting systems.
