Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; social service experience may substitute 2:1.
• Must pass criminal background check and TSA Fleet Safety e-learning.
• New Mexico driver's license with clean record.
• Experience supervising staff in a social service setting.
• Proven crisis intervention and homeless services experience.
• Ability to oversee the Street-Level program including staffing, food distribution, and referrals.
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain professional boundaries.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to learn HMIS/WellSky databases.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Street-Level Program aligning with mission and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines and provide program feedback.
• Monitor monthly income and expenditures for the program.
• Plan outreach to address homelessness and community needs.
• Represent the organization at community events for unhoused populations.
• Serve as on-call manager as assigned; perform other duties as needed.
• Drive, park, and operate the mobile shower unit at service locations.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the mobile unit; report maintenance needs.
• Assist clients respectfully; maintain a safe and dignified environment.
• Use de-escalation and crisis-intervention techniques; maintain boundaries.
• Coordinate with social services for referrals and resources.
• Stock supplies; monitor inventory and report needs.
• Document participant counts, services, and incidents in reporting systems.
• Supervise and train staff for service delivery and standards compliance.
• Lead staff development and training opportunities; evaluate performance.
