Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our home and community-based program in California. This PRN role emphasizes delivering functional rehabilitation wherever life happens, with clinical autonomy and flexible scheduling.

You will perform evaluations, develop and adjust treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted license as an OT by the practicing state.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year's OT work experience.
• Knowledge of rehab techniques for neurological conditions.
• Professional verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.
• Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and standing for long periods.
• Physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending, reaching and kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness and attend staffing/family conferences.
• Discharge evaluations with home/community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team and families.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to improve outcomes.
