Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks an Occupational Therapist for its Home & Community Neurorehabilitation team in Oakland, CA, delivering real-world care beyond clinic walls. You will be the primary therapist from evaluation through discharge, helping patients regain independence in everyday activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted OT license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year of OT experience.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological diagnoses preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; moving/transferring patients up to 100 pounds with safety.
• Manual dexterity and ability to stand/walk for extended periods; bending/reaching occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in staffing/family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, and family members.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to enhance patient outcomes.
