Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services, Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation, is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Home and Community Program in California. The role covers evaluation, treatment planning, and real-life functional rehab across home, community, and work settings.

This PRN position offers flexibility in scheduling and a chance to impact clients in real-life contexts. This role requires a bachelor’s degree in OT, current CA license, CPR certification, and at least

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist by the state in which practicing.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year's work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to neurological diagnoses preferred.
• Excellent communication and professional in verbal and written interactions.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations and resources.
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and improve outcomes.
