Job summary

Advocate Health’s MedCenter Air program seeks experienced respiratory care professionals for critical care transport. You will perform advanced airway management, operate ventilators, and carry out data-driven patient assessments in a high-stakes environment.

The role requires RT licensure, BLS, and timely paramedic certification. Night shifts and sign-on bonuses are available. Join a nationally recognized air medical team based in Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of respiratory care.
• Current RT license or temporary license in the working/residential state.
• BLS required; CAMTS/advanced certifications encouraged.
• Paramedic Certification required within 2 years of hire.
• EMT-P and NRP/SAAB certifications may be required within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Collects data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or the situation.
• Uses clinical reasoning to conduct assessments and patient care interventions.
• Delegates elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers.
• Plans and provides services that are safe, effective and financially responsible.
• Participates in committees or facility decision making activities.
