Advocate Health seeks a skilled Critical Care Transport team member to care for ill and injured patients during transport by Med Center Air. You will perform respiratory assessments, stabilize patients, and coordinate with Medical Control for optimal outcomes.

The role requires RT licensure, advanced critical care skills, and a strong focus on safety and efficiency in air/ground transport operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of respiratory care; RT license required.
• Three years clinical respiratory care experience in ED/ICU preferred.
• Advanced certifications such as ACCS or equivalent required to maintain position.

Responsabilités

• Provide care for ill and injured patients transported by MCA with respiratory assessments and interventions.
• Perform advanced procedures under Medical Control Physician oversight.
• Maintain safety and efficiency of MedCenter Air operations.
• Independently initiate advanced practice procedures and pharmacological agent titration.
• Operate airway support and ventilation equipment during transport.
