Job summary

This role will monitor indexing queues, review each image, and perform mobile scanning across nursing units, Surgical Services, and Cardiac Cath areas while ensuring proper documentation flow.

The technician must verify patient identifiers, maintain batch quality, and adhere to confidentiality policies, with emphasis on timely processing

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret medical terminology and patient records.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Familiarity with medical records workflows and confidentiality policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stage paper records for scanning and indexing.
• Reconcile paper records with hospital census to verify receipt.
• Verify patient name, medical record number, and account number on every page.

Education
