Job summary

Chesapeake Regional Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI examinations and ensure high-quality imaging for interpretation by radiologists.

Responsibilities include maintaining patient safety, educating patients about the exam, reviewing orders, and assisting in protocol selection and equipment checks. Prior MRI experience and ARRT MRI certification are preferred, with BLS required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• Previous MRI experience preferred.
• ARRT-MRI/ARMRIT or ARRT registered; MRI certification within 2 years; BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex MRI procedures and produce diagnostic images.
• Ensure safety and quality control in MR imaging and patient care.
• Review orders and assist physicians with protocol selection.
• Educate patients about the exam and answer questions.
