Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, GA is seeking a Full-time Mobile Treatment Facility (MTF) technician to perform maintenance, setup and operation support for patient transport and donor/tissue recovery operations.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, vehicle inspections, coordinating with outside vendors, driving MTF when needed, and ensuring clean, disinfected transport environments. CDL preferred; 40 hours per week with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL-Class A license preferred within one year of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years' vehicle maintenance experience preferred.
• American Heart Association BCLS required.
• EVOC required annually.
• Valid Driver License; CDL Class B preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance of MTF including tractor, trailer and generator.
• Assists in set up and break down of MTF and related logistics functions.
• Performs preventative maintenance for electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general construction.
• Oversees deployment of vehicle in emergency situations.
• Keeps a record of MTF resources before, during and after deployment.
• Keeps interior surfaces clean and disinfected between trips.
• Communicates repairs with outside vendors as needed.
• Operates vehicles for transport of organs, tissue recovery, and related equipment during all phases of donor recovery.
• Works under Mobile Medicine Fleet & Logistics leadership on routine and emergent tasks.
• Maintains strong written and verbal communication skills.
