Job summary

Akumin is seeking a dependable Mobile Medical Trailer Truck Driver CDL for dedicated night routes in Macon, GA. You will operate tractor trailers for local deliveries of diagnostic imaging equipment, moving trailers between hospitals and clinics after MRI/CT scans.

This full-time night position offers $27-$35 per hour, paid training, and benefits. Candidates must hold a CDL-A with a clean DOT record, pass background and drug tests, and be able to lift up to 100 lb.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license and DOT Medical certification.
• Clean driving record.
• Experience with tractor trailers.
• Ability to load/unload and set up mobile equipment.
• Pass background check and drug test.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Night shift readiness.
• Training will be provided to learn routes and setup/teardown procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractors with automatic transmission.
• Transport 1–2 trailers per night.
• Set up medical equipment at destination.
• Tear down and secure trailers after delivery.
• Comply with ICC and DOT regulations.
• Report safety or mechanical issues and perform QA checks when required.
