Job summary

Your Health Organization is seeking a dedicated Delivery Medical Associate to serve patients in the Macon, GA area. The role involves transporting durable medical equipment to facilities and residences, with emphasis on safety and timely deliveries.

This full-time, salary-based position runs 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, requiring reliable transportation and daily travel to offices and care sites. Benefits include a competitive package and vehicle allowance.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Experience delivering medical equipment is a plus; ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles.
Ability to read and communicate effectively.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
Team player with ability to manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrate sound judgment.
Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport Durable Medical Equipment.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Load and unload durable medical equipment onto and from the delivery vehicle.
Ensure that equipment is secured properly to prevent damage during transportation.
Verify and document the condition of equipment upon delivery and return.
Install and set up durable medical equipment at healthcare facilities and patient’s residences.
Ensure proper functioning and placement of installed equipment.
Provide basic instructions to clients on the initial use of installed equipment.
Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
Coordinate with the dispatch team to receive delivery schedules and updates.
Instruct clients on the proper use and care of the delivered medical equipment.
Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, delivery times, and any equipment-related documentation.
