Job summary

Navicent Health Medical Center is seeking a Full-time Mobile Medical Transport Fleet technician in Macon, GA for 40 hours/week. The role supports maintenance of MTF equipment, vehicle deployment in emergencies, and coordination with transport teams.

CDL is preferred; BCLS and EVOC certifications are required annually; a valid state driver’s license is essential. Flexible scheduling, comprehensive benefits, and safety protocols are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL-Class A license preferred within one year of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years' vehicle maintenance experience preferred.
• American Heart Association BCLS required.
• Advocate Health Risk Management Approved Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) annually required.
• Valid Driver License in the state of employment; CDL Class B preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance of MTF including the tractor, tractor trailer and generator.
• Assists in set up and break down of MTF and related logistics functions.
• Performs preventative maintenance (electrical, plumbing, general construction and carpentry) for MTF.
• Oversees deployment of vehicle in emergency situations.
• Keeps a record of MTF resources before, during and after deployment.
• Performs general housekeeping duties with regards to MTF.
• Facilitates and communicates repairs that requires specialized skills through outside vendors.
• Inspects, maintains, and operates vehicles for transport of organs, decedents, tissue recovery, and related equipment across procurement phases.
• Ensures vehicle interiors are cleaned and disinfected between trips.
• Works under Mobile Medicine Fleet & Logistics leadership to fulfill routine, unscheduled and emergent tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
