Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Technician to deliver, set up and maintain medical equipment at patient homes, while providing excellent customer service to patients and referral sources. The role includes educating patients on safe use and handling, and coordinating insurance verification.

You will handle paperwork, route planning, and on-call duties as needed, contributing to high-quality care and support for home-based patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time with attention to detail.
• Demonstrates professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up and maintain medical equipment at patient homes using company or personal vehicle.
• Provide customer service over the phone and in person to patients and referral sources.
• Complete delivery forms, invoices, work orders, manifests and logs, and care instructions.
• Coordinate verification of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance coverage.
• Educate patients/caregivers on safe use of delivered items and equipment.
