Job summary

Software Placement Group seeks a Territory Manager to service customers directly from a fully stocked mobile store in Long Beach, CA. This full-time, field-based role involves driving the mobile store to customer sites across industries and building direct customer relationships.

You will prospect, demo, and close opportunities, while managing store maintenance and reporting daily activities. A strong track record in independent territory sales and a stable work history is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must reside within the assigned territory (Long Beach, CA).
• Must be able to purchase or lease an approved mobile store vehicle.
• Must maintain a clean driving history.
• Must have the physical ability to kneel and bend to the floor on a regular basis.
• Strong, stable job history; no job hopping, with a maximum of 3 companies over the past 10 years.
• Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proven history of goal attainment.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new sales opportunities near existing customers.
• Make face-to-face cold and warm sales calls within your territory.
• Present products using sample boards, product demos, and the mobile store.
• Maintain the cleanliness, functionality, marketing, and operation of the mobile store.
• Submit complete daily reports detailing sales orders and prospect calls.
• Maintain accurate customer contact information using company software.
