Akumin is hiring a Patient Coordinator for our mobile radiology unit serving Patterson, CA. You will greet patients, register them in systems, verify insurance, collect payments, and support the clinical team to ensure a smooth patient experience.

This full-time role requires strong customer service, basic computer skills, ability to travel between sites, and compliance with HIPAA. CPR certification recommended; bilingual Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification must be obtained prior to hire for Mobile Radiology, CPR is a plus for Fixed Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone.
• Register patients in various systems and verify insurance.
• Collect payments for time-of-service where applicable.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient visits in electronic systems.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect patient information.
