Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Mobile HVAC Technician to support multiple locations. You will operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems, applying preventive maintenance practices and using CMMS tools to update work orders in real time.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED, Universal CFC recovery certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days), at least four years of building engineering experience with HVAC/R,

• Experience troubleshooting commercial refrigeration a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair work orders on facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment across HVAC/R systems.
• Complete inspections and repairs of interior/exterior areas and components.
• Use CMMS (Corrigo) to update work orders, submit receipts, and maintain records.

Our client, a facilities and building operations organization, is seeking a Mobile HVAC Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC Technician, you will be part of the facility maintenance group supporting multiple assigned locations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills, a safety-first mindset, and the drive to keep equipment running efficiently—so client spaces stay comfortable, operational, and ready for occupancy.

What\'s the Job?

• Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment to support efficient performance and equipment life expectancy.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and installed systems and components.
• Strong focus on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment across all HVAC/R systems.
• Complete inspections and repairs for assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls, flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, and related components.
• Use CMMS systems (such as Corrigo) to update work order status in real time, submit P-card receipts daily, and maintain accurate records of past operating experiences.

What\'s Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Universal CFC recovery certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment).
• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration.
• Valid state driver’s license and availability for call-in work and other duties as required.
