Responsibilities

• Maintain lighting systems by replacing bulbs/ballasts and supporting electrical needs.
• Handle special maintenance tasks such as painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests.

Job description

Our client is seeking a Facilities Technician 3 to join their team. As a Facilities Technician 3, you will be part of the Facilities/Maintenance function supporting on-site operations. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude, a strong commitment to safety and housekeeping, and the motivation to work independently while supporting a team.

Location:Indianapolis, IN

Pay Range: $28 to $32 per hour

What's the Job?

• Support facility operations by assisting with inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment and systems.
• Perform general interior maintenance including HVAC/R coil cleaning (coil cleaning of evaporator and related components) and kitchen equipment maintenance (meat grinder, cuber, meat saw, slicers, and similar equipment).
• Complete minor plumbing repairs and assist with maintenance tasks that require basic plumbing knowledge.
• Maintain lighting systems by replacing bulbs and ballasts and supporting electrical maintenance needs as assigned.
• Handle special maintenance tasks such as painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, and other general maintenance duties as directed.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to maintain it.
• Completion of an applicable technical training program is desirable, with at least 1 year of applicable experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs., use ladders up to 30 ft, and demonstrate mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening.
