Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mobile Engineer to operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing and production equipment at our Royal Oak, MI facilities. The role emphasizes energy efficiency, proactive repairs, and record-keeping to minimize downtime.

You will troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R and related systems, work across electrical, plumbing and material handling equipment, and participate in daily/weekly maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment).
• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering with HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, production equipment repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and related systems.
• Operate, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems and associated equipment and electrical distribution.
• Document inspections and required repairs; update work orders and notify supervisors.
• Utilize CMMS (Corrigo) to log work and track statuses in real time.
• Maintain valid state driver’s license and be available for call-in work.
