Job summary

CBRE seeks a HVAC Mobile Engineer to maintain and repair commercial HVAC systems across multiple facilities in the South Houston area. The role covers preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation tasks with a company van and tools provided.

The position emphasizes strong maintenance experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical fields, with a day shift and site visits to 15–18 locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school with 4–5 years of related experience.
• Must meet physical requirements: stooping, standing, lifting 50 lbs+.
• Willingness to think innovatively to improve solutions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and problem-solving ability.
• Comfort with basic math for figures and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain building HVAC equipment in accordance with codes and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine corrective actions to repair HVAC and related electrical/plumbing systems.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance; document maintenance and repairs.
• Operate company vehicles to sites and manage maintenance records.
• Apply advanced HVAC knowledge to solve complex tasks and mentor others.
