Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions seeks a HVAC Mobile Engineer to service 15–18 healthcare sites in the South Houston, TX area. The role involves preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation work on commercial HVAC systems, with a company van and tools provided.

Applicants should have 4–5 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license with a Universal EPA certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job‑related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Impact a range of customer, operation, project, or service activities within your team and other related teams.
• Conduct inspections and ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment, ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and apply expertise to maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems and related electrical/plumbing.
• Perform assigned repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance, and maintain maintenance records.
• Operate company vehicles in daily work responsibilities.
• Apply knowledge of standard principles to accomplish complex tasks and solve non-routine problems.
• Coach others and share HVAC knowledge; mentor across disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values; build consensus and drive approvals.
• Ensure high-quality work and efficient task completion; communicate complex information clearly to teammates and clients.
• Support continuous improvement and contribute to reliable operation of critical systems.
