Job summary

CBRE seeks a Mobile HVAC Engineer to provide preventive maintenance, repairs, and support for critical facilities including data centers and offices. The role travels within an assigned route, maintaining HVAC, electrical and life-safety systems while ensuring uptime and reliability.

The position requires EPA certification, a clean driving record, and experience with commercial HVAC systems. CBRE offers tools, a company vehicle, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4–5 years of related experience.
• Universal EPA (CFC) Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience maintaining and repairing commercial HVAC equipment.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and building systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance docs.
• Data center or mission-critical site experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, life safety and control systems.
• Inspect and repair commercial HVAC equipment including RTUs and package units.
• Support critical facility operations at telecom sites and data centers.
• Review work orders, estimate labor/materials, maintain inventory of tools and parts.
• Inspect building systems for proper operation and client compliance.
• Respond to service requests and emergencies with timely communication.
• Maintain documentation of activities, repairs and inspections.
• Operate company vehicle safely while traveling between facilities.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed.
• Share expertise with team and support operational excellence.
