Job summary

CBRE HVAC Mobile Engineer role maintains mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC across multiple facilities. This position supports preventive maintenance, repairs, and operations within the Engineering and Technical Services function.

You will troubleshoot failures, perform repairs, document maintenance work, and coordinate with diverse teams. A solid HVAC knowledge base and safety standards are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school with 4–5 years of related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Able to perform mildly complex mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain HVAC equipment following codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine corrective actions for HVAC and related systems.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance; complete maintenance records as required.
• Operate company-issued vehicles in daily tasks.
• Explain complex information clearly to team members and clients.
• Coach others and share HVAC knowledge; model CBRE values.
