Job summary

CBRE is seeking an HVAC Mobile Engineer to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems across multiple facilities in Plano, TX. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and document repairs to ensure reliable building operations.

The role requires hands-on experience, ability to lift heavy loads, and adherence to codes and CBRE safety standards. This on-site position offers growth within our Engineering and Technical Services team and

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more and meet physical requirements.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
Able to perform math calculations including percentages and fractions.

Responsibilities

Inspect and maintain building HVAC equipment to comply with codes and safety standards.
Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine corrective actions for HVAC systems and associated electrical and plumbing components.
Perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and complete maintenance records.
Operate company vehicles to job sites.
Explain complex information clearly to team members and clients.
Coach others and share HVAC knowledge within the team.
