Job summary

CBRE is seeking an HVAC Mobile Engineer to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems across multiple facilities in the Plano area. The role involves preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting, with responsibility for maintenance records and equipment integrity.

You will apply broad HVAC knowledge, mentor teammates, and uphold CBRE values. Candidates should have related experience and be able to work in a dynamic, client‑facing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of related experience.
• Willingness to lift 50 lbs or more and meet physical requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems at multiple facilities.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC equipment in compliance with codes and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best courses of action for modifications.
• Perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and maintain maintenance records.
• Operate company vehicles as part of daily tasks.
• Apply in‑depth HVAC knowledge to solve complex tasks and non-routine problems.
• Coach others and share HVAC knowledge with team members across disciplines.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE values to build consensus.
• Ensure high-quality work and efficient completion of tasks by the team.
• Explain technical information clearly to clients and team members.
