Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Controls Technician to service and commission building automation systems on site in North America.

You will troubleshoot and repair control systems, install and calibrate equipment, and provide expert guidance to customers to resolve energy and comfort issues. Working with a branch team, you will mentor junior staff, document job progress, and coordinate with project managers to deliver reliable, efficient performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Commercial Controls troubleshooting experience in HVAC systems.
• Experience with electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
• Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs complex control systems malfunctions.
• Provide field proposals for retrofits, upgrades, or enhancements.
• Mentor technicians and support field teams on building automation tasks.
• Coordinate with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and proper documentation.
