Job summary

Johnson Controls in the United States is seeking an HVAC Field Service Technician to perform control systems programming, commissioning, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance across mechanical, electrical and low-voltage components.

You will service and diagnose systems at customer sites, provide on-site recommendations, maintain detailed documentation, and uphold safety standards while delivering high levels of service.

Qualifications

• Trade school or associate degree plus 3 years of industry experience.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sequences and applications.
• Able to use hand and power tools and electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC control systems programming, commissioning and maintenance.
• Respond to service calls and provide on-site repair recommendations.
• Document changes, testing results, and as-built details.
