Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a skilled Controls Technician to service and install building automation systems across our North America branch network. You’ll diagnose complex HVAC control systems, lead on-site troubleshooting, and mentor junior technicians while delivering high customer satisfaction.

You will develop field proposals, support retrofits, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure safety standards. The role requires strong knowledge of electronic controls, wiring diagrams, and software

Qualifications

• Five years of Commercial Controls troubleshooting in HVAC.
• Vocational School program graduate or associate degree in a technical field.
• Ability to install or service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
• Effective writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of systems.
• Provide high levels of customer satisfaction through on-site interface.
• Mentor technicians and document project work.
• Assist in field proposals, retrofits, and upgrades.
