Job summary

Johnson Controls in Irving, TX seeks an experienced building controls technician to perform maintenance, repair and commissioning of complex building automation systems. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site, mentor junior technicians, and ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive communication and detailed documentation.

The role requires strong knowledge of electronic and digital controls, plus the ability to propose retrofits and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Six years of commercial controls troubleshooting experience in HVAC.
• Experience installing or servicing electronic and mechanical systems.
• Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of building control systems.
• Provide high levels of on-site customer satisfaction and mentorship to junior technicians.
• Create project and service documentation and coordinate with customers and team members.
