Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to troubleshoot, install, commission, and maintain building control systems.

You will respond to service and warranty calls, use Johnson Controls configuration tools, and provide front-line technical support to customers to resolve building inefficiencies. Ideal candidates have a vocational or associate degree in a related field and at least three years of industry experience with HVAC systems and electro-mechanical equipment, plus

Qualifications

• Vocational School or associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field plus three years of industry experience.
• Understanding of HVAC systems, sequences and applications.
• Technical aptitude in mechanical and electro-mechanical fields.
• Able to use hand and power tools and electrical testing equipment such as a multimeter.
• Solid knowledge of PC use.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, commission and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC control systems and related components.
• Respond to service and warranty calls using Johnson Controls tools and equipment.
• Provide frontline technical and repair support through clear communication with customers.
• Provide system repair recommendations and assist in proposing solutions to customers.
• Participate in a growing team and deliver high-quality service to improve building efficiency.
