Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a qualified Controls Technician for our North America Branch based in Boise, Idaho. You will perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of building automation systems onsite, delivering high customer satisfaction through hands-on technical expertise.

You will mentor junior technicians, document work thoroughly, and coordinate with project teams to ensure safe, efficient operation and timely completion of service tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years Commercial Controls troubleshooting experience in HVAC.
• Demonstrated ability to install and service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
• Effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites.
• Strong writing skills and understanding of control software programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of building control systems onsite.
• Provide high levels of customer satisfaction through direct on-site interface.
• Mentor technicians on building automation activities and document work thoroughly.
• Propose retrofits, upgrades and enhancements and support sales with technical recommendations.
