Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking a Housing Specialist to coordinate housing programs for crime victims and provide mobile advocacy to help survivors secure stable, long-term housing. The role includes managing program requirements, collaborating with partners, and ensuring thorough documentation and reporting.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in human services and at least two years of related experience, plus strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in human services or related field.
• Two years of human service experience.
• Need valid Colorado driver’s license and vehicle.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows environment.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and oversee the Housing for Crime Victims Special Project and DVP TANF Flex Funds.
• Provide mobile advocacy to crime victims transitioning to/maintaining housing.
• Triage intake interviews and document program participation.
• Collaborate with landlords, housing programs, and partner agencies to increase housing opportunities.
• Maintain case notes and required billing/documentation.
