Job summary

Fleet Services – A Cox Automotive Company is hiring a Heavy-Duty Technician to support the growth of the company. The Heavy-Duty Technician will maintain and repair a variety of trucks and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.

This role requires ability to read diagrams, troubleshoot, and follow safety procedures. We offer production-based pay with flag hours, safety boots and glasses reimbursement, uniforms and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in heavy equipment repair
• Knowledge of gas/diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems
• Familiar with hydraulics and electrical schematics
• Must have own hand tools
• Must have basic computer skills
• High School diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
• Read diagrams and service manuals
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment and cranes
• Carry out preventative maintenance
• Maintain and follow safety/environmental requirements
