Job summary

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive is seeking a Heavy-Duty Technician to service and repair trucks and equipment at on-site locations. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and diesel systems, read schematics, and perform scheduled maintenance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in heavy equipment repair.
• Knowledge of gas and diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems.
• Off road equipment experience.
• Familiar with hydraulics and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair heavy equipment and fleet assets.
• Read diagrams, schematics and service manuals.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment, off-road equipment, and cranes (light crane work).
• Carry out preventative maintenance and keep accurate paperwork.
