Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions seeks an Automotive Installation Technician to install fleet technology across vehicles and trailers. This hands-on role rewards technical learning and growth in a fast-paced environment.

You will install GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet tech, traveling to customer sites for mobile work. Prior automotive or installation experience is advantageous; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and basic diagnostics.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
• Work on light-duty vehicles, trucks, tractors, and trailers.
• Perform basic 12V/24V wiring and routing for clean installations.
• Test systems and diagnose electrical or installation issues.
• Document installations with photos and notes.
• Travel to customer sites for mobile installations.
