Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to join our growing team in the United States. You’ll install GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet technology on cars, trucks, tractors, and trailers, and support diagnostics and vehicle electrical work.

The role emphasizes hands-on installation, safety, and quality with opportunities for ASE/I-CAR training and career development.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive, electrical, fleet, or installation background required.
• Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and install telematics hardware.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot GPS, telematics, dash cameras, sensors and tracking equipment.
• Work on light-duty vehicles and fleet assets.
• Perform basic 12V/24V wiring and connect power, ignition, ground, and diagnostic circuits.
• Document installations with photos and notes.
• Travel to customer locations for on-site installations.
