Job summary
Protech Automotive Solutions is hiring an Automotive Installation Technician to join our growing team. This hands-on role installs and supports GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet technology across cars, trucks, tractors, and trailers, with mobile installations at customer sites.

Qualifications
- Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and technical instructions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on mobile sites.
Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, cameras, and sensors.
- Work on light-duty vehicles, trucks, tractors, trailers, and other fleet assets.
- Perform basic 12V/24V wiring and trailer connections.
- Route and secure wiring for clean installations.
- Test system functionality and diagnose issues.
- Document installations with photos and notes.
- Travel to customer and fleet locations for mobile installations.
- Maintain safety, quality and right-first-time installations.
