Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Technician Leader to join its management team in the Phoenix market. You will lead a team of mobile fleet technicians, coaching them to achieve productivity, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.

You will monitor safety, training, and performance metrics while expanding service opportunities and market penetration. You will travel to technician and client sites, partner with HR, IT, and sales, and ensure regulatory compliance while building a strong, capable

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 6 years in a related field; alternatives include a master’s degree with 4 years, PhD with 1 year, or 10 years in a related field.
Minimum of three years in a people leadership role with a proven track record of developing teams.
Valid driver’s license, clean MVR, and ability to obtain required certifications; 21+ for interstate operations.
Strong coaching, mentoring, performance management, and change leadership in a growth environment.
Ability to align cross-functional teams to drive growth and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach a mobile fleet technician team to drive development and business performance.
Own market-level performance including productivity, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.
Monitor metrics, safety records, and training to drive continuous improvement.
Build an engaged, high-performance team culture through regular coaching and development conversations.
Collaborate with dispatch, parts, billing, HR, and sales to maximize service delivery and growth.
Recruit, interview, and hire technicians to scale operations and expand market share.
Ensure compliance with DOT, safety, and regulatory standards.
