Job summary
Automotive Technology Experts seeks a Field Mechanic Technician to provide mobile mechanical, diagnostic, and ADAS calibration services to Crash Champions locations and partners. The role combines mechanical repair with advanced diagnostics, requiring travel in a company vehicle and adherence to OEM procedures.
You will perform programming, calibrations, health checks, and safety-related diagnostics, ensuring documentation and approvals are in place.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of automotive mechanical experience required.
- I-CAR PL3 certification within 90 days of hire; ASE certification within 90 days.
- Proficient with ADAS, electrical systems, diagnostics, programming and calibrations.
- Experience with suspension, brakes, HVAC, dash removal and air bag installation.
- Ability to diagnose and repair SRS systems per OEM standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality mechanical, diagnostic, programming, calibration, electrical and safety services.
- Travel daily to service locations in a company vehicle.
- Perform diagnostics, scanning, programming, calibrations, electrical work and mechanical repairs.
- Document services clearly and obtain approvals per OEM guidelines.
- Conduct test drives to verify system functionality and communicate results.
