Job summary

Automotive Technology Experts (ATE) is seeking a skilled Field Mechanic Technician to deliver mobile mechanical, diagnostic, and ADAS calibration services. The role combines extensive mechanical repair responsibilities with advanced diagnostics across Crash Champions locations, third party partners, and retail customers.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of automotive experience, with I-CAR PL3 and ASE certifications in process.

Qualifications

• 4+ years automotive mechanical experience required.
• Experience with ADAS systems and calibrations.
• Proficient with electrical diagnostic equipment (multimeters, probes).
• Ability to program vehicle modules using factory or approved software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast and accurate ATE service support to customers and partners.
• Travel daily to assigned service locations in a company provided vehicle.
• Perform diagnostics, scanning, programming, calibrations, and electrical diagnostics.
• Perform mechanical repairs including suspension, brakes, HVAC, dash removal, and air bag installation.
• Conduct engine, drivetrain, cooling system, and post collision mechanical inspections per OEM standards.
• Produce test drives to verify system function and document results.
