Job summary
Automotive Technology Experts (ATE) is seeking a Field Mechanic Technician to deliver high-quality mechanical, diagnostic, programming, calibration, electrical, and safety services for Crash Champions locations and external partners. This mobile role combines hands-on repair with advanced diagnostics and ADAS calibration, differentiating it from calibration-only positions.
The ideal candidate has 4+ years of automotive experience, is able to travel daily in a company vehicle, and carries ASE/
Qualifications
- 4+ years of automotive mechanical experience.
- I-CAR PL3 certification within 90 days of hire.
- ASE certification scheduled within 90 days of hire.
- Experience with ADAS, diagnostics, programming, and calibrations.
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds and travel daily.
Responsibilities
- Deliver fast and accurate ATE service support to customers.
- Travel daily to assigned service locations in a company vehicle.
- Perform diagnostics, scanning, programming, calibrations, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical services.
- Conduct engine, drivetrain, and post- collision mechanical inspections per OEM standards.
- Test drive to verify system functionality and document results.
