Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain and repair retail store technologies across client sites, including Toshiba and non-TOSHIBA POS equipment and store systems. The role entails on-site work, installation, and problem resolution in busy retail environments.

This non-exempt, hourly position requires travel within a defined territory, strong troubleshooting, and excellent communication to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to service levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 4+ years of related experience; IT/Technical degree preferred.
• Must be able to travel 100% domestically; air travel may be required for installations outside assigned geography.
• Operational knowledge of PC technology, network infrastructure, POS equipment, and retail devices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues remotely or on-site.

Responsibilities

• Operates in territory to perform repairs and services on Toshiba and non-TOSHIBA POS equipment.
• Travel within territory or nationally to install, relocate, or modify retail POS systems.
• Communicates status and issues clearly with customers and team members to minimize disruption.
• Plans work schedules, travel, and documentation according to company standards.
