Job summary

CSS is seeking a Supervisor - Field Service to lead day-to-day operations for service technicians across projects, emphasizing heavy equipment operation and safety. The role requires coordinating schedules, resources, and customer interactions while ensuring on-time project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business, forklift certification, OSHA 10/30 (preferred), and 3–5 years of supervision in construction with strong inventory control knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business required.
• Forklift certified required; OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of heavy equipment operation experience, forklift certified.
• 3–5 years of supervision experience in a construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control processes.
• Knowledge of electrical, construction, or mechanical products.
• Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills; ability to follow verbal/written instructions.
• Geographically mobile and willing to relocate based upon customer projects.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages project development from start to finish per contract.
• Provides daily direction to Field Service Supervisors.
• Liaises with project stakeholders and manages customer interaction.
• Sets and manages project expectations with team and stakeholders.
• Tracks milestones, delivers progress reports and requirements docs.
• Manages changes in project scope, anticipates crises, and plans contingencies.
• Inspects progress, equipment, or sites to verify safety and specifications.
• Ensures a safe working environment and compliance with safety regulations.
• Completes monthly safety reporting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
