Job summary

CSS in Dayton, TX is seeking a Supervisor - Field Service to lead the day-to-day operations of field technicians, manage projects, and coordinate resources to meet customer contracts. You will be in a field position, operate heavy equipment, and be geographically mobile.

Responsibilities include directing project development, coordinating with stakeholders, tracking milestones, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering progress reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ Degree in business required.
• Forklift certification required; OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 preferred.
• 3–5 years heavy equipment operation experience; forklift certified.
• 3–5 years supervision experience in a construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control processes.
• Knowledge of electrical, construction, or mechanical products.
• Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow verbal/written instructions.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and equipment.
• Must be geographically mobile and willing to relocate based on customer projects.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages project development from beginning to end according to the customer contract.
• Provides daily direction to Field Service Supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Liaises with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Directs customer interaction.
• Set and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
• Tracks project milestones and deliverables. Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, and requirements documentation.
• Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Inspects work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety or to ensures all specifications are met.
• Ensures safe working environment at all times and follows appropriate safety regulations.
• Completes monthly safety reporting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
