Job summary

CSS is seeking a Supervisor - Field Service to lead day-to-day operations for service technicians across projects, emphasizing heavy equipment operation and safety. The role requires coordinating schedules, resources, and customer interactions while ensuring on-time project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business, forklift certification, OSHA 10/30 (preferred), and 3–5 years of supervision in construction with strong inventory control knowledge.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Tracks milestones, delivers progress reports and requirements docs.
• Manages changes in project scope, anticipates crises, and plans contingencies.
• Inspects progress, equipment, or sites to verify safety and specifications.
• Ensures a safe working environment and compliance with safety regulations.
• Completes monthly safety reporting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job description

As the Supervisor - Field Service you will lead, direct, and execute the day-to-day operational objectives of one or more service technicians. You will manage projects, help coordinate team activities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects in accordance with the customer contract. You will be in a field working position and must be skilled in heavy equipment operation. You must be geographically mobile.

Responsibilities:

• Directs and manages project development from beginning to end according to the customer contract.
• Provides daily direction to Field Service Supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Liaises with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Directs customer interaction.
• Set and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
• Tracks project milestones and deliverables. Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, and requirements documentation.
• Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Inspects work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety or to ensures all specifications are met.
• Ensures safe working environment at all times and follows appropriate safety regulations.
• Completes monthly safety reporting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
