Job summary
Automotive Technology Experts (ATE) is seeking a mobile Field Mechanic Technician in Virginia Beach. You will deliver mechanical, diagnostic, programming, calibration, electrical, and safety services to Crash Champions locations, third-party partners, and retail customers, combining mechanical repair with advanced ADAS work.
Ideal candidates have 4+ years in automotive repair, ASE and I-CAR PL3 certification within 90 days, and experience with EV/HV systems.
Qualifications
- 4+ years automotive mechanical experience required, with ADAS and diagnostics exposure.
- I-CAR PL3 and ASE certifications expected within 90 days of hire.
- Experience with EV/Hybrid high voltage systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, scanning, programming, calibrations, electrical diagnostics, and safety related services.
- Carry out mechanical repairs including suspension, brakes, HVAC and dash removal per OEM standards.
- Conduct test drives and document repair results clearly and accurately.
