Job summary
Automotive Technology Experts is seeking a Field Mechanic Technician to deliver mechanical, diagnostic, programming, calibration, electrical, and safety services to Crash Champions locations and customers. This is a mobile role that blends hands-on repair with advanced ADAS work, requiring daily travel in a company vehicle.
You will perform OEM procedures, test drives, documentation, and high-energy EV/Hybrid work when trained.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of automotive mechanical experience.
- I-CAR PL3 certification within 90 days of hire.
- ASE certification scheduled within 90 days of hire.
- Strong knowledge of ADAS, diagnostics, and calibrations.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, scanning, programming, calibrations, electrical diagnostics, wire and connector repair, and light to moderate mechanical services.
- Travel daily to assigned service locations in a company provided vehicle.
- Conduct engine, drivetrain, cooling system, and post collision mechanical inspections per OEM standards.
- Diagnose, replace, and initialize SRS components per manufacturer guidelines.
- Perform ADAS diagnostics and calibrations when trained and authorized.
- Document all services and complete test drives to verify system functionality.
