Job summary

Automotive Technology Experts (ATE) is seeking a Field Mechanic Technician for mobile, field-based service across Crash Champions locations and partners. You will deliver mechanical repairs, diagnostics, programming, ADAS calibration, and safety checks, with emphasis on end-to-end repair validation and customer service.

Candidates need 4+ years of automotive experience and should obtain I-CAR PL3 within 90 days, plus ASE certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 4+ years automotive mechanical experience required; expanded scope beyond calibration-only roles.
• I-CAR PL3 certification within 90 days of hire; ASE certification scheduled within 90 days.
• Strong knowledge of light/moderate mechanical repair, ADAS, electrical systems, diagnostics, programming, calibrations.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to service locations in a company vehicle.
• Perform diagnostics, scanning, programming, calibrations, electrical work and mechanical repairs.
• Repair suspensions, brakes, HVAC, dash removal, air bag installation per OEM standards.
• Test drive and document repairs; ensure clear, professional communication with customers.
