Job summary

Automotive Technology Experts (ATE) seeks a Field Mechanic Technician to deliver mechanical, diagnostic, programming, calibration, electrical, and safety services to Crash Champions locations, third-party partners, and retail customers. The role combines full mechanical repair with advanced diagnostics and ADAS calibration.

The technician travels daily in a company vehicle, performs tests, and ensures documentation meets OEM standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of automotive mechanical experience required.
• I-CAR PL3 certification within 90 days of hire.
• ASE certification scheduled within 90 days of hire.
• Strong knowledge of ADAS, diagnostics, and calibrations.
• Proficient with electrical diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast and accurate ATE service support to customers.
• Travel daily to assigned service locations in company vehicle.
• Perform diagnostics, scanning, programming, calibrations, electrical work and mechanical service.
• Conduct test drives to verify system functionality and repair outcomes.
• Document all services per OEM guidelines and company policies.
